About Us
The Moreau Fire Protection District protects approximately 230 square miles with eight fire stations in Miller, Morgan, and Moniteau County. A portion of our district is agricultural, and other parts are steep, wooded Ozark Hills. We protect a small portion of the Lake of the Ozarks and experience a significant influx of visitors each year from local tourism. Our 40 volunteers respond to over 1000 emergencies a year.
